A graduate of Syracuse’s School of Architecture with a major in architecture and interior design, Eric has worked for 20 years with some of the most prestigious design firms in the country, including Thierry Despont where he was the Head Interior Designer.
One of the most disciplined and creative designers in the field, Eric customizes each project to exceed his client’s dreams and expectations. Beginning with the overall scope of the project, he draws upon his architectural training to analyze the possibilities and limitations of space. Based on his client’s life style and memories of favorite places and things, he then develops a plan which focuses on creating a comfortable and functional living space. His experience with a multitude of styles and his historical perspective allow him to create designs which are uniquely his yet are attuned to his client’s aesthetic. He views each project as a collaborative process. Whether developing a plan to highlight a client’s artwork or designing a soaring spiral staircase, he is equally proficient. Eric’s custom designed furniture, which fit naturally into each room, and his use of color to create mood are among the hallmarks of his art. To ensure the highest quality, he works with a select group of highly gifted craftspeople who can execute his singular designs.
